She found one and it was right across the street. I met everyone there, and then I met my best friend, Alison. I didn’t know her that well but there was a friendship circle forming around us. On Halloween we made decorations and hung them on the stair rails. Then on Christmas we played in the snow. By then we were in a knot of friends. Then it was career day and my dad came on his motor cycle and told us about his job and said “I am a police officer and I am in the traffic unit now and I protect Lenexa and Gardener Kansas”. It was nice to see him during the day. Then kindergarten went by fast. Then we grew a little more every day. First grade was around the corner, man does that have memories. We would always sing the wheels on the bus song all the time while we were waiting. Second grade came, when we would go to class we would say “Hi” and “Bye”. Third grade ahoy, we had tons of fun. The years have passed by and it comes to today. So far we have been friends for ten years. Now that’s a lot of memories. So I wonder what will happen in the next five years? So many questions.

How I Met My Best Friend Alison
My mother was a busy woman and that day she was looking for a baby sitter to watch me. She found one and it was right across the street. I met everyone there, and then I met my best friend, Alison.
